Cars fly over Louvre during Paris Fashion Week
Louis Vuitton presented its Spring-Summer 2027 collection in Paris, held inside the Louvre Museum. The runway featured suspended futuristic cars surrounding the attendees, designed with colorful lines and patterns known as "Damié," symbolizing travel and the future. The collection relied on lightweight fabrics and flexible cuts that adapt to movement, with designs reflecting mobility and practical elegance, set against a backdrop that contrasted historic architecture with futuristic decor. The show also highlighted an environmental initiative, as 83% of the materials used in the designs were sourced sustainably, with 95% of them being recycled, in accordance with the "Renovation 2030" plan.
