Russian night missile strikes target Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities
Russian missile and drone attacks targeted Ukraine and its cities overnight until this morning, resulting in the death of 12 people and injuring 40 others. The strikes hit residential areas in Kyiv and other cities, including housing buildings and vital facilities, causing some structures to be destroyed and large fires to break out. These attacks come amid President Zelensky's warning of Russia's preparations for a large-scale offensive, urging the reinforcement of Ukraine's air defense systems. Russian forces managed to target infrastructure facilities in several regions using precision weapons, including ports and industrial sites, while Ukraine continues rescue and evacuation efforts for the victims.
