Ronaldo on Leaving and Jesus Promise
Cristiano Ronaldo has broken his silence regarding his recent crisis with the Portugal national team, affirming his readiness to return to the squad and denying the end of his international career. He apologized for leaving the camp after sitting on the bench against Norway and admitted that his decision was wrong, expressing his willingness to accept any sanctions. He also criticized coach Jorge Jesus for not fulfilling his promise regarding his participation, but nevertheless, he confirmed he's prepared to rejoin if he's fit and continues to play with his club Al-Nassr, after any potential punishment has been carried out.
