Egypt secures fourth North Africa Youth title
The Egypt Under-20 team won the North Africa Youth Union Championship for 2026 for the fourth time in its history after defeating Algeria 2-0 and taking advantage of Morocco's 3-2 loss to Libya. The results led to Egypt and Morocco qualifying for the 2027 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Ghana. The tournament was held in Ismailia, with Egypt emerging as the winner, while Algeria and Tunisia failed to qualify. Egypt's tournament history now includes titles in 2006, 2008, 2012, and 2026.
