Apache Helicopter Downed in Yemen Coast
Claims circulated on social media about the downing of an Apache helicopter off the western coast of Yemen, but investigations revealed that the video being shared is not recent and is misleading. It turned out that the clip is old and has been used previously in different contexts; it was first posted six months ago and contains AI-generated visuals with a high likelihood (97-99.9%). Additionally, the accounts that re-shared the clip focus on military content related to Yemen and use radical language. The re-sharing of the video coincided with the advance of government forces in the area.
