Professor's plan urges Palestinians' exit
The Israeli Public Prosecutor's Office announced the arrest of a Jewish university lecturer at Bar-Ilan University, aged 60, on charges of planning to carry out large-scale terrorist attacks aimed at displacing Palestinians from their homeland. According to the indictment, the plot focuses on forming 12 armed cells comprising 72 operatives, including licensed gun owners, to execute surprise attacks using various weapons in Arab towns and mixed cities, with support from within the Israeli military, including shelling of Arab residential areas. The suspect's plan culminated in mass killing campaigns and documenting the attacks on social media, intending to force Arabs and Palestinians to leave. However, the scheme failed after he was unable to recruit supporters despite efforts to involve politicians and activists. The suspect was detained following the discovery of his plans and faces charges related to security and terrorism, with investigations ongoing.
