The Indonesian government announced the pregnancy of two Sumatran rhinoceros females, one of the endangered species with fewer than 80 individuals remaining in the wild, aimed at supporting conservation efforts for this species. The females, at Way Kampas National Park in Sumatra, are approximately halfway through their pregnancies, and it is expected that they will give birth in May, as part of well-planned breeding programs under specialized medical supervision.
