One killed in Sudan aid convoy attack
One of the drivers of a World Food Programme truck was killed in a airstrike on a relief convoy in South Kordofan State, Sudan. The attack targeted two trucks carrying food supplies as they were traveling from Delenj to Kadugli. The trucks, which bore clear humanitarian markings, were attacked in the early hours of Saturday. This comes just a day after another truck was hit by a bomb blast. The security situation in the area is worsening, with conditions deteriorating and humanitarian aid struggling to reach those in need. There are calls for immediate investigations and accountability for those responsible.
