The article discusses an attempt by a flight assistant from Fly Dubai to down a flight heading to Tel Aviv. Investigations revealed that Israeli authorities were aware in advance of the crew and passengers, but their background checks had not been fully verified. Details also showed that the accused pilot, an Omani national, studied aviation management in Britain and had posted videos of Israeli planes and a photo of Al-Qaeda's leader after the attack on his social media accounts. The investigations confirmed that the co-pilot attempted to carry out a terrorist act and is currently being interrogated in Abu Dhabi, raising questions about the effectiveness of screening mechanisms for foreign aircraft lists under the new law. The incident aims to assess the readiness of security agencies to prevent similar attacks, and the UAE Attorney-General emphasized that investigations proved the co-pilot's intention to carry out a terrorist operation.
