Russian strikes damage Ukrainian infrastructure
Russian attacks on Ukraine continue, as the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it intercepted and destroyed 218 Ukrainian drones overnight. The strikes targeted critical infrastructure and vital facilities in several regions, including Kyiv and the port of Odesa. The "Northern Bridge" in Kyiv came under Russian shelling, resulting in an emergency response and its closure, which disrupts public transportation and subway services in the capital. Statements indicate a rise in Russian military operations aimed at continuously destroying Ukrainian defense and supply capabilities.
