Arturo Vidal criticizes Jesus for Ronaldo defense
Arturo Vidal defended Cristiano Ronaldo after the offensive statements from Portugal national team coach Jorge Jesus, stating that his exclusion from the lineup against Norway was a disgrace and damages the coach's reputation. He emphasized that Ronaldo is one of the greatest players in history and deserves protection and appreciation. Vidal added that Ronaldo has significantly contributed to elevating Portuguese football, and treating him like any other player is unfair. He expressed his full support for Ronaldo. On the other hand, Thierry Henry downplayed the crisis's impact on Ronaldo's legacy, affirming his long-standing respect for the player and believing that the solution should come from within the parties involved.
