London Examines Iran’s Possible Role in Fairford Incident
British police have announced the arrest of a 27-year-old British-Iranian man in connection with a mysterious incident that occurred on Sunday at a military base in Fairford, southwest England. Indications suggest that Iran played a role in the event, as it has been announced that there is strong evidence linking the incident to an attempted attack on the base used by the U.S. military against Iran. An investigation was launched after police received reports of masked men and suspected perpetrators, and no explosives have been found to date. Authorities continue to investigate the possibility of foreign state involvement.
