Saudi discloses details on Fly Dubai incident
The reports focused on an incident aboard Fly Dubai flight FZ1073 heading to Israel, where Saudi authorities launched an investigation after an attacker—probably the copilot—attempted to down the plane during an emergency landing at Tabuk Airport. It was confirmed that the attacker assaulted the pilot and co-pilot, injuring them, but the aircraft landed safely, and the flight was subsequently diverted to Abu Dhabi. The injured crew members were taken to the hospital for treatment. Ongoing investigations indicate an attempted attack by the copilot, and authorities are handling the incident in accordance with international regulations, ensuring the safety of flights and security.
