Hezbollah denies links to Golan Heights cell
Hezbollah denies any connection to the group arrested near the occupied Golan in Syria, which was allegedly planning to carry out attacks, according to official Syrian statements. The party clarified that it has no presence or security or military activities in Syrian territory. Syrian authorities confirmed that the cell was preparing missile launch platforms to destabilize the region, and that the arrest was made after meticulous surveillance. Hezbollah warned of attempts to involve it in order to incite tensions between Lebanon and Syria, amidst rising regional and military tensions, especially with Israel talking about indicators of a possible attack before the elections.
