Robots Support Iranian Girls in Tech
Iranian girls are working to develop their skills in robotics and participate in international competitions, despite the restrictions of isolation and economic sanctions facing the country. In the 20th edition of the "Robocup Iran Open" in Tehran, nearly 2,000 competitors from 400 teams took part, including girls and children around the age of ten. They are striving to achieve accomplishments in the field of autonomous robots that rely on programming and electronic technologies. The girls hope for government support from the Elite Organization to realize their ambitions and aspire to increase women's participation in this field, which is dominated by boys.
