Seoul: President's War Stance Does Not Reject Trump on Hormuz
The Blue House (South Korea's Presidency) confirmed that President Yoon Jae-myung's remarks ruling out sending troops to the Strait of Hormuz do not mean rejecting the United States' request for military cooperation in the region. The president clarified that Seoul is practically exploring its options to engage in order to protect its citizens and support the international community, while reaffirming its commitment to non-intervention in any wars or conflicts, especially since he stressed that the Cheonghae Unit is present there solely to combat piracy and security threats.
