Sinamin under heightened security
Security forces in the city of Sanameen in Daraa countryside continue to establish stability after an security operation that resulted in the death of three of their members, the dismantling of terrorist cells linked to ISIS, and the arrest of five wanted individuals. The city has experienced a return to cautious calm amid ongoing security alertness and monitoring of terrorist group movements, especially those associated with Mohsen Al-Haimed, a group previously connected to the Assad regime and possessing an ideology similar to ISIS. Recent operations indicate the presence of small, scattered cells relying on sheltering among the population, with the threat persisting from dormant cells despite the weakening of terrorist organizations. The complete eradication remains unlikely except through a comprehensive strategy that combines soft and hard power to ensure lasting stability in the region.
