Israeli troops move toward Lebanese position in Deir Mimas

Reports circulated about Israeli forces advancing toward a Lebanese Army checkpoint in southern Lebanon, where they fired stun grenades and conducted searches in the town. Meanwhile, the Lebanese Army remains out of the clashes between Hezbollah and Israel. Photos also showed two Israeli tanks moving toward the town before stopping in front of Lebanese Army vehicles, which retreated several hundred meters but remained positioned opposite the Israeli forces. These developments come amid ongoing Israeli escalation in the occupied areas of southern Lebanon, despite a Lebanese-Israeli framework agreement regarding the disarmament of Hezbollah and the withdrawal of Israeli forces. However, the occupation continues to resume military operations and occupy territory.
