US introduces missile to counter China
Lockheed Martin has launched a new air-to-air missile known as the AIM-260, aimed at countering China's growing advanced aerial capabilities, especially stealth fighters like the J-20. This missile offers greater range and combat capabilities than current missiles and is equipped on American fighters such as the F-22 Raptor and F-35. The announcement comes at a time when Washington and its allies are working to boost the production of long-range precision weapons, amid stockpiles being drained by the war in Iran, with expectations of increased production and expansion of the industrial base to support the program.
