The attack on Taif Province in Saudi Arabia by a Houthi drone resulted in the death of one person and injuries to two others. It also caused material damage to homes and vehicles. Arab countries such as Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain condemned the attack, considering it a violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and a breach of international law. They called on the Security Council to take a firm stance. This attack comes after previous attempts by the Houthis to target Mecca, with assurances that the group continues its escalation against Saudi Arabia within the Yemen conflict, amid warnings of heightened security risks that threaten regional stability.
