Apple announces Pro and Tell event for new MacBook Pro
Apple announced on October 28th a new event to launch a new version of MacBook Pro computers, featuring the first touch screen and a slimmer, lighter design in 14 and 16-inch sizes, with expectations of it being equipped with M6 processors or M5 Pro and M5 Max versions. This move marks a shift in Apple's approach, integrating keyboard and touch interaction, bringing Mac computers closer to tablet technology, although support for the Apple Pencil remains exclusive to iPad. As for the operating system, it is anticipated that Apple will prepare the system interface elements for touch interaction and adopt a "Dynamic Island" design at the top of the screen. If this happens, touch interaction will become a core feature, narrowing the gap between Mac and iPad. Mac devices will offer larger screens and direct interaction, while pencil support remains exclusive to iPad.
