Galaxy S27 May Skip Snapdragon Processor
Samsung is facing the possibility of changing the processor in its Galaxy S27 series due to reports of elevated temperatures with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 during testing, which led to a reduction in its speed when performing heavy tasks. Although Qualcomm has denied any thermal issues, Samsung is currently considering whether to continue using the processor or switch to its own Exynos 2700, which is expected to be developed with a 2-nanometer manufacturing process and to deliver improved performance and energy efficiency. Samsung's final decision will likely depend on the thermal stability performance of these processors, as the release of the Galaxy S27 series is approaching in early 2027.
