Fly Dubai passengers recount cockpit incident
The incident revealed a fight inside the cockpit of a Fly Dubai airplane during a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv, which resulted in the pilot being injured and forced to make an emergency landing at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia. The conflict was between the pilot and his assistant, leading to serious injuries, as passengers saw one of the pilots attacking the other with a knife, accompanied by sounds of hitting and screaming. The passengers managed to take control of the situation, pulling the attacker out of the cockpit, while the captain sustained severe injuries. The backup pilot was able to safely land the aircraft despite a significant part of the aircraft's rudder detaching during the incident. The plane arrived at Tabuk Airport, where it received the necessary medical care.
