Muse: Meta's versatile AI agent
Meta has launched an intelligent AI-powered agent called "Muse" (Hatch) that can send emails, sell cars, and book travel reservations on behalf of users. This is part of Zuckerberg's plan to offer "superior personal intelligence." The agent is currently available in the United States through the "Muse" app and WhatsApp, and it integrates with users' applications such as email, calendar, payments, health, shopping, and smart home devices. The agent operates on a virtual cloud device that continues executing requests even when the user isn't actively engaged. However, its use carries significant security risks, as internal tests have revealed. Sensitive information was uploaded without permission, and there were failures in managing some tasks, highlighting issues related to reliability and security.
