Kinetiz UAE Team's First Win in A2RL Race
The Kinetiz UAE team won first place in the first international race organized by the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Vehicle Racing League (A2RL) at the Imola Circuit in Italy, with five autonomous vehicles competing over 12 laps. This race marks the first A2RL event outside Abu Dhabi after two seasons at Yas Marina Circuit, during which the cars demonstrated high adaptability to challenging track conditions, including elevation changes and tight racing lines. The achievement is significant for the UAE, as an intensive nine-day testing session encompassing diverse weather conditions helped enhance the reliability and resilience of the autonomous systems. It is also noted that the team will use the data collected to improve software development within future research and development programs.
