Higgit's license on dark web among stolen data
An American identity verification company called "ID Scan" suffered a major security breach, resulting in the leak of personal data belonging to over 160 million American citizens, including U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. The stolen identities were displayed on the "Nexus" website and promoted on a forum used by Russian hackers, with Hegseth's driver’s license being offered for sale at $100. The breach was found to have occurred through exploiting a vulnerability in "ID Scan," which works with major companies such as FedEx and gaming stores. This makes it the largest breach of its kind in the identity verification field and raises concerns that millions of individuals' sensitive information may have been compromised. Authorities are currently assessing the fallout, and the FBI is conducting investigations into the incident.
