Algeria recovers child Ayyoub's body
Ten-year-old Ayoub passed away after falling into a dry artesian well four days ago in the village of Rukna, Gsoul Municipality, in the Blida Province, Algeria. The child fell after stepping on a decayed piece of wood covering the well, which is approximately 80 meters deep and 40 centimeters in diameter, posing a significant challenge for rescue teams. The extraction process took several days and was hampered by difficult soil conditions. Authorities and specialized teams used all available human and material resources in their attempt to save him, but unfortunately, he died during the rescue operation.
