Ettifaq rests; Messi op
Al-Ettifaq coach Arthur Papas gave the team’s players six days off, starting Thursday. They are due to return to training on November 11 for a closed training camp, following the postponement of domestic competitions and coinciding with the international break. Frenchman Ryan Messi underwent knee surgery at Aspetar Hospital in Qatar after his medial ligament injury worsened. The club had initially estimated that he would be out for ten days.
