Mourinho on win and Vini
José Mourinho said AEK Athens had played a brilliant match at a level beyond their capabilities, after Real Madrid beat them 3–2 in a tough Champions League match. He explained that his side refused to settle for a 2–2 draw and took a risk to claim all three points, aiming to collect more points in the remaining two rounds and finish the league phase in the top eight. Mourinho described Vinícius Júnior’s performance as good and acceptable, despite substituting him to bring more energy to the left flank.
