Camavinga’s Bayern pain
Eduardo Camavinga described Real Madrid’s elimination by Bayern Munich in last season’s Champions League quarter-finals as “a painful day.” He received a second yellow card in the 86th minute of the second leg, which Real lost 4–3, and the team went out 6–4 on aggregate. He said he did not consider his contribution to the winning goal against Barcelona an act of revenge, adding that people would forget what he had done in El Clásico and that he needed to keep performing at the same level in the matches ahead. On October 25, Camavinga had passed the ball to Kylian Mbappé, who scored the 2–1 winner against Barcelona.
