Dubai Basketball Starts Second Season of One Team
Dubai Basketball Club has launched the second season of its community program "One Team" in collaboration with the UAE Special Olympics, with the aim of promoting social inclusion and developing skills through sports. The first session saw the participation of 14 individuals with special needs, aged between 12 and 18 years old, who were trained in basketball and engaged in activities to boost confidence and teamwork. Established in 2012, the program—part of EuroLeague's efforts to promote social integration—seeks to provide training and competitive opportunities for people with special needs, creating an inclusive sports environment that ensures equal opportunities for all.
