Hakimi Ties Salah and Challenges Eto'o in Champions League
Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi, of Paris Saint-Germain, has become the second top African goal assister in the history of the Champions League after equaling Mohamed Salah's record with 19 assists. He is approaching the record held by Cameroonian Samuel Eto'o, who leads with 20 assists. This came after he set up the winning fourth goal for his team against Barcelona in a match that ended 4-2 in the group stage, raising his total assists in the tournament to 9. Hakimi still needs one more assist to break the record, and achieving this would see his name at the top of the list for the most assists by an African player in the history of the competition.
