Brighton scores stunning midfield goal
Diego Gomez scored a spectacular goal from midfield in his team's Brighton against Crystal Palace in the English Premier League, becoming the longest-distance goal in 9 years, measuring 51 meters. The goal came after observing Palace's goalkeeper advancing beyond his goal and taking advantage of the opportunity when the ball was in a good position to shoot, resulting in an exceptional goal just over the goalkeeper. This goal is one of the longest scored since Wayne Roney's in 2017, and contributed to Brighton's 5-0 victory, making them one of the highest-scoring teams this season.
