Al-Ahli's loss becomes a win
Al Ahly of Egypt defeated Kitara of Uganda with a score of 2-1 in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup Round of 32. They overturned a first-half goal deficit to secure the victory by scoring two goals in the second half. Kitara scored the first goal in the 30th minute, but Al Ahly equalized with a goal from Omar Saei in the 67th minute, and then Ahmed Sayed "Zizo" secured the winning goal from a penalty kick, just ten minutes before the end of the match. Al Ahly only needs a draw or any victory in the second leg at their home ground to advance to the Round of 16.
