Milan Targets Record Against Atalanta as Rabiot Awaits Milestone
AC Milan's team is preparing to face Atalanta in the seventh round of Serie A, aiming to break their losing streak against the latter, which has lasted for the past six matches following two draws and four defeats — their longest slump since the 2015-2018 period. Milan has not defeated Atalanta in the last seven encounters between the two teams, with an important match ahead to secure their first win after a series of negative results. So far, Milan has not been defeated in the first six games of this season’s league campaign, and they hope to achieve three consecutive victories at home for the first time since 2026, after their recent wins over Venezia and Lecce. It is expected that coach Ruben Amorim will achieve a historic milestone by avoiding defeat in his first seven matches with Milan. Meanwhile, Adrian Rabiot is looking to contribute a goal or more for the fourth consecutive match — an unprecedented achievement for him in the top five European leagues.
