Arteta: Goals all feel the same, helped us avoid loss
Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta emphasized that his team needs to diversify its goal-scoring methods, especially after failing to score from set pieces (excluding penalties) in six Premier League matches this season, the longest such streak since January-March 2025 (7 matches). Last season, the team scored 25 goals from set pieces, including 19 from corners—a record. Arteta pointed out that the team exhibits good attacking fluidity and should be able to score in various ways to reduce reliance on set pieces, with a focus on improving performance against Nottingham Forest, who haven't beaten Arsenal in their last 11 meetings. He added that the team has recovered from their loss to Brighton and achieved two consecutive wins. He also mentioned that some of their injured players are nearing a return, emphasizing the importance of improving their scoring performance.
