Al Dhafra's first five-goal win in nine years
Al Dhafra won 5-1 against United in the opening of the sixth round of the Professional League, marking their biggest victory in over nine years. Goals were scored by Dominique Mendy, Sory Kaba (two goals), Draman Komari, and Aurelson Sampaio. United's goals came from two penalties converted by Willi Samedo. Al Dhafra's goalkeeper, Amjad Al-Sayed, excelled by saving a penalty and preventing a goal reduction attempt. With this win, Al Dhafra increased their points tally to 6, temporarily moving to ninth place, while United's points remained at 7, placing them eighth—marking their third loss of the season. Notably, Al Dhafra delivered their best performance of the season under the leadership of French coach Patrice Carteron, in contrast to United's coach, who struggled to find solutions in both defense and attack.
