Benzema's Postponed Return
Karim Benzema, who is 38 years old and has only played for one club besides his original team, the French club Lyon, is aiming to return to play with his old team. Despite being away from the field after terminating his contract with Al-Hilal Saudi Arabia, his former agent revealed that Benzema has been considering a return to Lyon for quite some time. He views Lyon as his club and hometown, confirming that his connection to Saudi Arabia prevented this from happening this summer. Additionally, Dazerti criticized the Saudi football project, believing that purchasing European clubs would have increased Saudi Arabia's fame more than establishing a private league. Benzema’s future remains uncertain, as he has not announced his retirement, and questions persist about his ability to continue and realize his dream of returning to Lyon before the end of his career.
