Barcelona seeks Madrid's feat as Yamal scores record in La Liga
Barcelona is preparing to face Real Betis in the ninth round of La Liga, aiming to continue its perfect start to the season after winning the first eight matches. This is an achievement only one team has previously accomplished — Real Madrid in the 1968-1969 season. On the other hand, Real Betis is suffering from a negative streak at their home ground, having not won against Barcelona in the last 15 matches, with draws and bitter losses. Barcelona’s scoring record away from home is remarkable; they have scored in each of their last 20 matches against Betis, totaling 52 goals, the longest streak of its kind. Additionally, Barcelona stands out as one of the teams with at least 20 attempts on goal in 6 matches this season. Midfielder Lamine Yamal has played a significant role in the team's attack, scoring 7 goals and providing 5 assists in the first 8 matches. This makes him the Spanish player with the most goal contributions in the early part of a season in the 21st century.
