Morocco star retires at 32 years
Moroccan defender Adam Masina, who participated with the Moroccan national team in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final, ended his football career at the age of 32 due to recurring injuries that worsened his physical condition. After suffering an anterior cruciate ligament tear with Udinese and an injury to his thigh muscle, he terminated his contract with Torino in February 2024 and decided to retire and transition into coaching. He joined the technical staff of Italian club Pro Vercelli as an assistant coach to head coach Francesco Salmi, beginning a new chapter off the pitch.
