Al-Khuzama's double leads Al-Ittifaq win
Al-Ettifaq's first football team won 2-0 against Kuwaiti team Kazma at the start of their journey in the Gulf Champions League, ending a streak of three consecutive draws in the Saudi League. Ondrej Duda scored the first goal in the 26th minute, while Jordan Larson added the second in the 91st minute after coming on as a substitute. The victory is seen as a good way to restore the winning spirit after the team had drawn three matches in a row. Australian coach Arthur Papas has so far achieved 4 wins, 3 draws, and 2 losses in the team's matches against Kazma across ten encounters.
