Gulf Cup Champions: Media, management, distancing
The history of Al-Ittihad Saudi team includes an initial victory by winning the Gulf Club Championship in 1983 after defeating Al-Arabi of Kuwait in the final, led by coach Khalil Al-Zayani. The team at that time featured prominent players such as Mubarak Al-Dosari, Adel Khidr, and Sami Jassim. After retiring, the players' careers diversified between administrative work and media roles, with some becoming commentators and analysts, while others preferred to stay away from the sports industry. The team is currently competing again in the Gulf Champions League, beginning their matches with a confrontation against Kazma in Dammam.
