Villarreal goalkeeper missing amid robbery
Villarreal goalkeeper and Hungarian international Peter Gulasci, along with his family, was subjected to an armed robbery inside their home in Buzul, north of Valencia. Four masked robbers broke into the residence and forced him and his wife to remain under threat of weapons. They stole valuable belongings stored in a safe, with their child present in the house. This incident led to his absence from his team's match against Napoli in the Champions League, which Villarreal won 3-1, and had a significant impact on his mental state, prompting the coaching staff to exclude him from the squad. The police have opened an investigation to apprehend the suspects. The incident is among the reasons for his absence from the game and reflects a tense atmosphere of insecurity affecting the player and his family.
