Police Detain Salma After Flight Incident
American authorities have detained actress Salma Blair following a confrontation aboard a flight from Los Angeles to New York, which resulted in injuries to at least two crew members. Blair reportedly kicked one crew member and bit another, later assaulting a police officer and a nurse during her transfer to the hospital. Blair is facing second-degree assault charges and has been summoned by the FBI. She was released on bail, with a new court date set for January 19, 2027. This incident follows a previous history in 2016, when Blair disembarked from a flight in a wheelchair after an impulsive behavioral outburst; she admitted at the time to consuming alcohol and drugs. She has also encountered several celebrities during similar episodes.
