Spiresian and Ibanez back in Al Ahly squad
Saudi Al-Ahli midfielder, Armenian Edward Spertsian, has returned to the starting lineup for the match against Emirati team Al Wasl in the AFC Champions League. He previously participated as a substitute in the match against Al Fateh and has attracted significant attention due to his international appearances. Spertsian, who has been a key player since joining the team, is playing alongside Brazilian defender Roger Ibanez, who has returned after recovering from an injury. The team is led by coach Marinko Boscic in the match held at Zabeel Stadium in Dubai. Al-Ahli is employing its strategic plan, with 12 players on the bench, aiming to secure a victory in the second round of the Western Group in the Champions League.
