Ibanez Nears Full Readiness Before Al-Wasl
The medical staff at Al Ahly Club has given the green light for Brazilian defender Roger Ibañez to participate partially in the match against Emirati team Al Wasl in the AFC Champions League; however, he was excluded from playing fully to avoid fatigue, especially after his injury to his left leg during the South African match against Sundowns. Ibañez missed the team's last game against Al Fateh due to not being fully fit, and the final decision regarding his participation will rest with Dutch coach Marinus Bould, who may choose to keep him on the bench or include him in the starting lineup. The club's management aims to protect the player from re-injury and to maximize his readiness for upcoming matches.
