Diaby Ends Union Goal Drought
Moussa Diaby's goal for Bayer Leverkusen against Mainz in the German Bundesliga is his first with the team since joining in the summer, following a scoring drought of approximately three and a half years. The goal came in the 65th minute of the match and resulted in his team winning 4-3. This goal is his 50th for Leverkusen. He had previously struggled to shine with his former team, Union Berlin, and then with Aston Villa, where he had not scored since April 2023.
