Alonso defends Chelsea star amid national team claims
Chelsea manager, Chabi Alonsu, confirmed that the team's player, Col Palmer, remains committed to playing for the England national team, despite criticism over his absence from recent international matches due to a thigh injury. He explained that the 24-year-old player needs to be in peak physical condition to participate with both the national team and the club, especially after recovering from his injury and showing improvement over the past week. This comes as Chelsea faces Bournemouth in the English Premier League, following Palmer's recent fitness setbacks that led to his absence from the international squad.
