Neville Warns of Chaos if City Wins
Manchester City Football Club is facing a serious legal crisis related to allegations of systematic violations of financial rules over an entire decade, including the concealment of large sums of money through fake commercial deals. Reports suggest that the club could face sanctions such as point deductions or hefty fines, amid a legal battle the club is firmly defending itself in, despite denying the accusations. Analyst Gary Neville warned that winning the league title this season amidst these allegations could cause widespread chaos, emphasizing the need to resolve the issue by February or March to avoid complicating their chances of winning in May. Neville also pointed out that the club might fail the "owners and directors test" according to the league’s standards, based on his experience with club ownership and management, raising doubts about its continued competitiveness.
