Portugal coach faces consequences over Ronaldo dispute
A dispute erupted between the Portugal national team coach, Jorge Jesus, and the team captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, after the latter left the squad camp before the Denmark match. The disagreement stemmed from a disagreement over not being included in the Norway game and a promise to get 30 minutes of playing time. This upset Ronaldo, who confirmed his respect for the decision but expressed his anger over the broken promise. It is likely that Jesus will face a disciplinary investigation by the Portuguese Football Federation due to his conduct towards Ronaldo, amid growing tension between the two. The Federation has not officially announced any punitive measures yet. This crisis has prompted efforts to resolve the conflict amicably between the two parties.
